Home Health Aide Responsibilities
Provide personal and companion care to assist clients with daily living:
Help with moving/transferring around the home
Perform light housekeeping (e.g., vacuuming, dishes, laundry, etc.)
Prepare meals and snacks as directed
Accompany clients on errands or appointments
Assist with bathing, dressing, shaving
Provide medication reminders
Support prescribed range of motion exercises
Offer dementia care
Engage in companionship (e.g., reading, music, puzzles)
In Home Caregiver Qualifications/Skills:
- High school graduate or G.E.D. certificate
- Possess a valid driver’s license and current automobile insurance
- MUST have at least 1 year professional caregiving experience
- Pass a background check
