Responsibilities and Duties:
In this role, you will have the opportunity to perform personal care activities that assist clients with activities of daily living, including:
• Assisting with transferring/moving clients from place to place throughout their home
• Performing housekeeping activities such as vacuuming, dusting, and doing dishes
• Preparing meals and snacks according to instructions
• Accompanying clients on errands or medical appointments
• Bathing/Showering/Dressing/Shaving
• Medication reminders
• Assisting with prescribed range of motion exercises
• Dementia care
• Companionship activities such as reading, music, and puzzles
Qualifications and Skills:
To be considered for this role, you must:
• Be a high school graduate or G.E.D. certificate holder
• Be able to lift/move 50 lbs without assistance
• Have the ability to read, write, speak, and understand English as needed for the job
• Possess a valid driver's license and current automobile insurance
• Pass a background check
• CNA license, Home Health Aide, Personal Care Aide certification preferred
