What are the responsibilities and job description for the Structural Engineer (SE or PE) position at Right Angle Engineering?
Right Angle Engineering provides structural design services nationwide. We're looking for a licensed, motivated engineer who's ready to grow with a fast-moving team across a broad range of structural projects.
Responsibilities
- Review and update load calculations; provide structural assessments for failing structures
- Perform engineering calculations and red-line drawings for deep foundations, retaining walls, residential construction, and more
- Work toward managing projects from start to finish
- Obtain licensure in states of work as needed
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Active PE license required (structural focus preferred)
- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering required
- Experience with deep foundations, retaining walls, and residential or light commercial structures
- Proficient in RISA 3D, AutoCAD, and Excel
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
Graduates in related engineering disciplines (mechanical, etc.) may be considered on a case-by-case basis.
