Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Plumbers Helper to join our team. In this role, you will assist in installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems in residential and commercial settings. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical aptitude, a willingness to learn, the ability to retain knowledge once learned, and the ability to work effectively and independently
Responsibilities
- Assist plumbers with the installation and repair of pipes, fixtures, and other plumbing equipment.
- Perform pipe threading and ensure proper alignment of plumbing systems.
- Support field service operations by responding to service calls and assisting with troubleshooting.
- Help in the installation of HVAC systems as needed.
- Participate in remodeling, renovation, and new construction projects
- Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently for various tasks.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety protocols.
- Collaborate with carpenters and other tradespeople on construction projects.
Requirements
- Basic knowledge of plumbing systems and construction plumbing practices is required
- Experience with pipe threading and mechanical knowledge is expected
- Familiarity with HVAC systems is a plus.
- Ability to use hand tools effectively and safely.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Willingness to learn new skills and techniques related to plumbing and construction, and ability to retain knowledge as learned.
- Physical ability to lift heavy materials and work in various environments.
