Responsibilities
- Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Troubleshoot and repair equipment issues using schematics, electrical diagrams, and technical manuals.
- Perform welding tasks and other fabrication work as needed to repair or modify equipment.
- Lead small maintenance projects, supervise junior technicians, and coordinate with contractors when necessary.
- Perform general facilities maintenance to uphold safety standards and aesthetic quality.
- Read schematics and technical drawings to execute repairs or installations efficiently.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols during all maintenance activities while providing excellent customer service to internal teams.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in facilities maintenance or manufacturing environments with a strong mechanical background.
- Knowledge of electrical systems, schematics, and troubleshooting electrical issues.
- Skilled in welding techniques and commercial painting with attention to detail.
- Ability to interpret technical diagrams, schematics, and facility layouts.
- Strong leadership skills with supervising experience in maintenance teams or projects.
- Excellent communication skills in English for clear documentation and team collaboration.
