Responsibilities
- Efficiently wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment to meet health and safety standards
- Maintain cleanliness of dishwashing stations, ensuring all areas are organized and well-stocked
- Assist with bussing tables and clearing plates during busy service periods to support overall restaurant flow
- Support food preparation tasks as needed, including basic ingredient handling and setup for meal service
- Aid in catering and banquet events by providing timely dishwashing support to ensure smooth event execution
- Follow proper food handling procedures to prevent cross-contamination and uphold hygiene standards
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely availability of clean dishes for service
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; on-the-job training will be provided
- Familiarity with kitchen operations such as bussing, basic food preparation, or catering is a plus
- Experience with cleaning or sanitation roles in hospitality settings is advantageous
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong teamwork skills and a positive attitude are essential for success in this role
