What are the responsibilities and job description for the Production Specialist position at Rifle Paper Co.?
The Production Specialist role is primarily responsible for printing and producing all requests from the sales team for fabric and personalized stationery orders. This role ensures quality and consistency amongst all of these products, and completes print orders according to the needs of the sales team. This role reports into the Supply Chain Manager. This role is on-site at our warehouse location in Maitland, FL.
Responsibilities - What You'll Do
- Assist in printing and cutting all material printed in-house as needed
- Audit and track supply use and waste
- Maintain print quality standard as set by Design leadership
- Works with Supply Chain teams to create and manage labeling
- Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
- Maintain a high personal efficiency
- Collaborate with Design and Store to create and install window displays
- Ensure all quality standards are being met and maintained by Production Associates
- Immediately communicate any issues or concerns relating to stock levels or quality issues of materials that would hinder and slow the production process
Qualifications - What You Have
- Intuitive and teachable in production
- Ability to work with your hands assembling small components
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy while working quickly and efficiently within a fast-paced environment
- Ability to sit and/or stand for long periods of time
- Self-starter that also works well within a team
- Ability to climb ladders and work on elevated surfaces from time to time
- Ability to lift boxes up to 50 pounds
- Ability to work within small and confined spaces occasionally
