TEMPORARY IT ADMINISTRATOR
We’re seeking a Temporary IT Administrator to provide hands-on support during a critical period of system upgrades, peak warehouse operations, and technology improvements. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys troubleshooting, jumping into fast-paced technical challenges, and supporting day-to-day IT operations while helping complete short-term IT projects.
This is a on-site role offering immediate impact and perfect for someone who is resourceful, detail-oriented, and comfortable balancing multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
RESPONSBILITIES:
- Partner with warehouse and operations teams to support critical systems and equipment performance. Provide onsite troubleshooting and technical support to end users in both office and warehouse settings.
- Support IT projects such as hardware deployments, equipment setup, and software upgrades.
- Install, configure, and maintain hardware including desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, and labeling equipment.
- Assist with end-user access requests, password resets, and license management.
- Support device setup, MDM enrollment, and workstation configurations.
- Ensure network connectivity for devices (IP, DNS, Wi-Fi, printers).
- Collaborate with IT leadership and external vendors to resolve incidents quickly.
- Assist with asset tracking, documentation, and post-project reporting.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 3 to 5 years of IT support, help desk, or hardware maintenance experience.
- 2 years supporting retail, warehouse, or distribution environments preferred.
- Working knowledge of Windows operating systems, networking basics, and Google Workspace or Microsoft 365.
- IT Certifications such as CompTIA, Microsoft Certified Professional, and Okta Certified Professional, preferred
- Familiarity with Active Directory / Entra ID or Okta for user access management.
- Familiarity with ERP, shipping, or warehouse systems (e.g., SAP B1, ShipStation, Deposco), preferred
- Experience with MDM tools such as Apple Business Manager, Addigy, or Pulseway.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and adapt to changing project priorities.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
- Onsite at our Maitland warehouse & office — fast-paced, hands-on tech support setting
- Requires mobility on the warehouse floor; walking, light lifting, and equipment setup may be needed
- Mix of desk work and floor support (you’ll be up and moving, not stuck behind a screen all day)
- Fast-paced operational environment supporting both office and fulfillment/production teams
- Frequent interaction with warehouse leaders, IT team, and cross-functional end users
