Summary
This role provides advanced technical support, resolves complex issues, maintains system reliability and security, and serves as a technical resource for employees across local and remote locations.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Manage hardware and software asset inventory, including procurement, deployment, tracking, and lifecycle management.
- Configure, deploy, and support computers, mobile devices, and peripheral equipment to meet the needs of employees in local and remote offices.
- Install, maintain, and upgrade operating systems, applications, and hardware on PCs, laptops, and iPads.
- Administer and support Microsoft technologies, including Windows Server 2022 , Microsoft 365 applications and administration, Active Directory, Intune, and PowerShell scripting.
- Support and maintain servers, printers, copiers, and related infrastructure systems.
- Support and maintain security camera systems and electronic door access control systems.
- Monitor system performance and respond to alerts generated by monitoring and management tools.
- Create and maintain technical documentation and standard operating procedures
- Serve as an escalation point for complex technical issues and assist in mentoring junior support staff when needed.
- Participate in IT projects, technology deployments, and infrastructure improvements as assigned.
- Perform special projects and other duties as assigned by the IT Manager or Technical Services Manager.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required, computer and information technology or related field
- Five (5) years of experience preferred. Minimum (2) years required.
- Regional travel to area offices required
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills
- Adaptable and able to thrive in a fast paced, high-pressure environment
- Strong customer service skills
- Self-motivated; ability to work independently
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- High degree of attention to detail
