Hours for this job are Monday through Friday from 7:30 am until 5 pm and a voluntary Saturday shift from 7:30 am until noon

Starting wage range is typically $20-25/hr and varies by experience level

As a Delivery Driver, it is an important privilege to be responsible for the timely and efficient movement of equipment to and from R&S customer’s residence/business in a safe manner. In the Detailer and Buildings & Grounds Maintenance role you have the high impact responsibility of thoroughly detailing and cleaning equipment, and assuring the timely maintenance and upkeep of the facility.

Essential Functions:

1.  Operates company truck and trailer on a daily basis, transporting equipment between R&S location and customer sites.
2. Assures loads are secure and operates vehicle in a safe manner, observing all traffic laws and remembering the importance of public safety.
3. Works cooperatively with Service Manager, Assistant Service Manager, and/or Service Writer in coordinating all deliveries.
4. Responsible for observing all DOT regulations.
5. Completes all related paperwork in a timely manner.
6. Uses a forklift to load and unload materials.
7. Checks condition of equipment delivered.
8. Gives basic instruction to customers in operating the equipment.
9. Obtains signatures, exchanges papers, and accepts payment from customers when needed.
10. Reports any accidents or losses immediately to supervisor.
11. Advises Service Manager of any concerns with the vehicle and assures repairs are done in a timely manner.
12. Pressure washes, cleans, details and performs light repairs to equipment in the shop.
13. Responsible for upkeep, preventative maintenance and minor repairs of assigned facility, tools, equipment, yard, and machinery.
14. Cleans showroom and public restrooms on a daily basis, including checking and stocking of bathroom supplies.
15. Assists truck drivers and customers with pick-up and drop-ff, loading and unloading trucks.
16. Operates a forklift in a safe, reliable manner to move crates and other heavy objects.
17. Assures intercompany transfers are ready for the truck route.
18. Assures that deliveries are delivered to the correct department and proper person is notified of delivery.
19. Moves equipment on the lot to assure proper display, and keeps equipment locked up for loss control.
20. Cleans debris from parking lot, driveway, ditches and other outside areas to assure a professional image.
21. Maintains grounds, above and beyond outsourced services, including weed control, minor snow removal, etc.
22. Dispose of all trash and recyclables.
23. Performs set-up work, assembling equipment and getting equipment ready for sale. 
24. Performs all job functions in a safe, timely manner.
25. Presents a positive, professional image in dress and conduct at all times.
26.  All other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Qualifications:

• Valid driver’s license and insurable driving history required.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Knowledge of equipment preferred.
