Cleaner / Cottages -Waterside Resort

Riemer Properties is looking to add several team members to our company cleaning team!! The Facilities Cleaner, is responsible for keeping assigned properties, resorts, restaurant/s or other public areas neat and organized. Their main duties include sweeping, mopping and vacuuming floors, dusting countertops, ceilings and furniture and sanitizing bathrooms, kitchens or other public areas.

Duties/Responsibilities:

· Performs general cleaning and sanitizing tasks and services throughout assigned property location.

· Cleans and disinfects bathrooms.

· Cleans and disinfects kitchen and dining areas.

· Wipes and dusts surfaces throughout assigned property location.

· Vacuums and cleans floors, rugs, furniture, and drapes/blinds.

· Picks up and empties trash containers.

· Notifies maintenance if something is not working properly.

· Maintains the buildings and grounds of the company and facility.

· Maintains the maintenance of equipment, machinery of the company and facility.

· Maintains the cleaning and maintenance of the company and facility.

· Maintains confidentiality of all information

· Demonstrates knowledge of and supports company mission, standards, policies and procedures, employee handbook, confidentiality standards and the code of ethical conduct

· Assure a health, positive work environment.

· Responsible for compliance with local, state and federal safety codes.

· Responsible to follow all MIOSHA, MDHHA and CDC orders and guidance with to COVID-19 rules.

· Performs other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:

· High School Diploma or equivalent required.

· Knowledge of purchasing, supplies, grounds keeping and equipment repair

· Knowledge of health, safety and environmental related to office buildings and equipment

Physical Requirements/ Working Conditions:

§ Restaurant and bowling center building and facilities environment

§ Work may involve a high level of stress

§ Work requires the following demands; significant lifting, carrying, pushing and/or pulling; frequent stooping, kneeling, crouching, and/or crawling.

§ Must have the ability to stand, walk and move around for long periods of time

§ The role routinely uses maintenance equipment and building materials

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
