Position: Oversight/Standing Orders Physician
Oversight Physician – Shared Defense Finance and Accounting Services (DFAS) Sites
Location: Shared across DFAS Indianapolis, Rome, Limestone, and Columbus
Hours: 1 FTE – 1,404 hours per year (part-time role covering all sites)
Schedule: Flexible within DFAS core hours (Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM)

Responsibilities:
- Develop, review, and approve standing orders, protocols, and medical instructions
- Provide oversight for RN-administered care, including immunizations, allergy therapy, and employee physician-ordered treatments
- Support management of medical records and clinical operations
- Participate in program reviews and emergency planning
Requirements:
- Board-certified in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Occupational Medicine, or Emergency Medicine
- Active, unrestricted physician license (in state of practice as required)
- Current BLS/AED certification
- Minimum 1 year experience in direct patient care for adults
