About the Role
Riedl and Son Exterior Specialists is seeking a friendly, organized, and motivated Inside Sales Representative to support our customers and sales team from initial contact through post-visit follow-up. This role plays a critical part in converting leads, supporting outside sales, assisting customers in our showroom, and keeping communication flowing across the company.
This is a great position for someone looking to learn the remodeling sales process and work their way into an outside sales role. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, customer-focused, and willing to jump in and help wherever needed to ensure an excellent customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive and process new leads from phone calls, website inquiries, email, and walk-ins.
- Enter, qualify, and assign leads to the appropriate outside sales representative using our CRM.
- Follow up with leads and customers after outside sales appointments to answer questions, gather feedback, and help move projects forward.
- Maintain consistent communication with customers throughout the sales process, including post-visit check-ins and next-step coordination.
- Greet customers in the showroom and guide them through roofing, siding, windows, doors, and other exterior product options.
- Answer incoming calls and route them to the appropriate department or team member.
- Schedule sales appointments, follow-up visits, and inspections.
- Assist customers with financing options, including explaining programs, helping complete applications, and coordinating with financing partners.
- Track financing progress and communicate status updates to customers and the sales team.
- Provide prompt, friendly, and professional communication to customers by phone, email, and in person.
- Keep the showroom clean, organized, and up to date.
- Assist the sales and office team with administrative tasks such as preparing materials, entering notes, updating records, and maintaining CRM accuracy.
- Handle general office duties including mail, supplies, and coordinating customer documents.
- Demonstrate a strong willingness to help wherever needed—supporting sales, production, office operations, or customer needs.
