Operations Manager (m/f/d)

RIEDEL Communications is the leading provider of live production tools in the media, sports and entertainment sectors. To cover our customers' needs holistically, we are divided into three business units: Product Division, Managed Technology & Riedel Networks!

Our Managed Technology division rents out our audio, video, IT and communication solutions for international live events and offers a comprehensive service from project planning to on-site implementation. It's not just about festivals, like Rock am Ring or sporting events - like Formula 1 or the Super Bowl - but also about guaranteeing all guests a thrilling experience.

Your Responsibilities

• Oversee daily site operations and ensure compliance with all safety and company standards.
• Lead and motivate an interdisciplinary team.
• Plan and manage event logistics, schedules, and staffing to ensure seamless execution.
• Approve and monitor project plans, budgets, and deliverables.
• Maintain RIEDEL’s technical inventory and coordinate project readiness.
• Review contracts, manage on-site communication, and provide bi-weekly progress reports.
• Act as the primary liaison between local teams, management, and clients.
• Identify risks, troubleshoot issues, and ensure on-time, on-budget project delivery.
  
  
  

THAT'S YOU

• 5 years of site, project, or operations management experience, ideally in live events, broadcasting or AV production.
• Strong technical background in intercom, radio, audio, and IT systems.
• Bachelors in relevant field preferred but not required
• Proven leadership and people management skills.
• Hands-on mindset and passion for end-to-end project execution.
• Budgeting and resource management experience required.
• Excellent English communication skills (spoken and written).
• Willingness to travel frequently and work flexible hours (nights/weekends).
• Valid driver’s license.
