OverviewThis is an in office position in north Woodinville. This role requires the desire and capacity to understand and enjoy people, to collaborate with teams, contractors, and, of course, our clients, to ensure that project requirements, timelines, and budgets, along with design concepts, are executed beautifully while adhering to our core company principles. As well as researching and presenting material options that align with the project's design vision and budget.This position is for Project Management work and has an Interior Design element attached to it; in that, we desire to build bridges with our customer base and assist them in making wise design decisions for their homes and private spaces.ResponsibilitiesProcuring quotes and estimates, and ordering and tracking items as needed.Preparing drawing packages for client projects, including interior architectural plans and elevations, construction details, schedules, and furniture drawings.Work closely with clients to develop design-intent schematic drawings into construction documents, making relevant updates and changes to all drawings throughout the project development process.3-D Modeling/renderCAD drawings; interior plans and elevations, furniture plan, construction details, sections, schedules, and furniture drawings.Render floor plans, elevations and 2D drawings - making sure perspective renderings and plans are current & up to date.Ability to translate strategy and goals into operational tasks.Appliance & fixture schedules (assistance with organizing and production)Ability to handle conflict and engage in productive resolution.Research and development: sourcing material samples, specifications and quotesProject organization & filing - maintaining organized internal digital files per clientGeneral office tasks; ongoing office & storage (samples) room organization, miscellaneous packing and shipping assistance, etc.Ability to listen and use feedback constructively.RequirementsA bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or a related field is preferred.Proven experience in interior design with a portfolio showcasing previous work.Proficiency in AutoCAD Sketchup are essential.Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.Knowledge of color theory and lighting design principles is highly desirable.Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members.Attention to detail and strong organizational skills are crucial for success in this role.Ability to be flexible and anticipate project needs and directionDisciplined to work independently and collaborativelyPrepared to give a 24 month minimum commitment The Interior Designer/Project Manager will support the owner in fulfilling this mission, working in tandem with his work cycle and standing ready to assist in design elements for projects. This will allow him to free up his time to increase his effectiveness and grow the company.
