Duties
- Operate various cleaning equipment to efficiently clean and maintain different areas within the facility.
- Perform floor care tasks, including sweeping, mopping, buffing, and polishing to keep floors safe and presentable.
- Conduct facilities maintenance duties as needed, addressing minor repairs or reporting issues to appropriate personnel.
- Handle cleaning chemicals in accordance with safety procedures, ensuring proper storage, usage, and disposal to prevent hazards.
- Engage in heavy lifting tasks when moving furniture, supplies, or equipment to facilitate cleaning operations.
- Maintain cleanliness of restrooms, common areas, offices, and other designated spaces.
- Ensure all cleaning activities comply with safety standards and organizational policies.
Experience
- Prior experience in janitorial or custodial work is preferred but not required; training will be provided for specific equipment and safety protocols.
- Knowledge of chemical handling safety procedures is advantageous.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently.
- Strong attention to detail and reliability in completing assigned tasks.
- Good physical stamina and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
