What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dispatch Helper position at RIDGEWELLS INC?
The Dispatch Helper Works in the Dispatch department and assists the Dispatch management to ensure the event deliveries are made accurately and completely.
RESPONSIBILITIES Other responsibilities include, but not limited to:
- Assist drivers in the delivery of food, beverage, disposables and equipment.
- Loads and unloads company vehicles in accordance with site and customer specifications.
- Supports the packing of orders.
- Clean, maintain and fuel vehicles.
- Communicates with base station and other vehicles.
- Adhere to all safety and traffic regulations
- Performs other duties associated with the position that are reasonably assigned to support the overall needs of the business.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Professional and customer-driven attitude.
- Flexible and courteous
- Ability to work a flexible schedule that will include early mornings, late evenings, and weekends.
- Ability to read, write, follow directions and interpret maps in English.
- Must have the ability to lift 10-20 lbs. numerous times each day and up to 60 lbs. a few times each day.
- Must be able to push and pull up to 150 lbs. frequently.
- Requires frequent bending, twisting and overhead reaching.
- Must be able to walk frequently and stand for long periods of time.
