Role Description
Ridgeway Investments is seeking a full-time, on-site Senior Controller to oversee all financial management and accounting operations across the organization.
This leadership role is responsible for financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and oversight of accounting functions across multiple entities and development projects. The Senior Controller will manage the accounting team, ensure compliance with financial regulations, maintain strong internal controls, and provide clear financial insight to support strategic business decisions.
The ideal candidate is hands-on, detail-oriented, and experienced in real estate investment or development environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee full-cycle accounting and monthly close processes
- Prepare and review financial statements and consolidated reports
- Lead budgeting and forecasting efforts
- Manage cash flow and banking relationships
- Supervise and develop the accounting team
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and GAAP standards
- Coordinate audits and external CPA relationships
- Develop and maintain internal financial controls
- Support ownership with timely, accurate financial analysis
Qualifications
- Strong expertise in financial reporting, forecasting, and budgeting
- Proficiency in accounting operations, audits, and financial compliance
- Experience developing and implementing internal financial controls
- Proven leadership and team management experience
- Advanced Excel skills and experience with accounting software
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- CPA preferred, but not required
- Real estate investment or development experience strongly preferred
- Ability to work on-site in Provo, UT
