Position Summary:
The RN Instructor plays a vital role in delivering high-quality instruction for Nursing Assistant students. This position is responsible for teaching course content, guiding students through hands-on skills, and ensuring compliance with program standards. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical expertise and a passion for education.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide classroom and lab instruction for Nursing Assistant students.
- Deliver 40 hours of instruction over 8 weeks (approximately 5.5 hours per session).
- Ensure adherence to curriculum standards and state requirements.
- Evaluate student performance and provide constructive feedback.
- Maintain a safe and supportive learning environment.
Qualifications:
- Current and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Minimum of 2 years of professional RN experience.
- At least 1 year of Long-Term Care experience.
- Teaching experience preferred but not required (training provided).
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
Work Schedule:
- 40 hours of instruction per class cohort, spread over 8 weeks.
- Sessions are approximately 5.5 hours each.
- Flexible scheduling to accommodate program needs.
Pay Rate:
- $3,000.00 per class cohort of instruction
