Purpose of Job
This position is responsible for providing project and program coordination to Ridgeview’s Employee Health programs, providing administrative support to the Employee Health department and assisting the Employee Health Manager.
Job Functions

Provides project and program coordination for Employee Health Program.
- Coordinates submission of employee incident/injury reports through First Report of Injury to workers compensation.

Coordinates annual TB program requirements.
- Maintains Respiratory Protection Program in compliance with regulatory agencies
- Coordinates, schedules and performs initial and annual fit testing and training of employees.
- Performs pre-placement screenings for employees and volunteers.
- Schedules and performs volunteer/unpaid intern pre-placement immunization review.
- Maintains databases for regulatory compliance requirements.
- Assists in the daily operations of the Employee Health Department.
- Assists with coordination of employee leave of absences.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Minimum Education/Work Experience
-
Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in a health related field or 2 years of medical clinic and/or medical office experience or Certified Medical Assistant, LPN or MLT
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

Knowledge of basic computer functions and Microsoft Office applications
- Ability to meet and maintain the necessary background checks as aligned with position functions
- Ability to communicate in the English language for effective written and verbal correspondence in order to complete job functions as mentioned above
- Knowledge of respirators and fit testing procedures.
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize multiple assignments in order to meet deadlines.
- Capable of making independent decisions with the use of good critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work under pressure in order to meet deadlines.
- Ability to communicate in the English language for effective written and verbal correspondence in order to complete job functions as mentioned above
- Ability to learn the fit test procedures and equipment
- Ability to provide group presentations and training
License/Certifications

Valid MN LPN Licensure (if applicable)
- CPR Certified
Preferred Qualifications
