Job Overview: Night Auditor – Ridgeline Management

Ridgeline Management is seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Part Time Night Auditor to oversee overnight operations and ensure the accuracy of daily financial reporting while delivering a seamless guest experience.

This role is equal parts guest service and business control—you are responsible for closing out the day, preparing the hotel for the next, and supporting guests during overnight hours. The ideal candidate is self-sufficient, accountable, and comfortable working independently.

Responsibilities:

• Greet and assist guests in a professional and welcoming manner during overnight hours
• Handle late check-ins, early departures, and guest requests efficiently
• Complete the nightly audit process, including balancing revenue, reconciling accounts, and closing the business day in the PMS
• Identify and resolve discrepancies in room revenue, payments, and reports
• Prepare and distribute daily reports to management
• Monitor property safety and security throughout the night
• Handle guest concerns independently and make decisions that protect the guest experience and the business
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front desk, cafe and lobby areas

Qualifications:

• Previous hotel front desk or Night Audit experience preferred, but not required
• Strong attention to detail and comfort working with numbers and reports
• Ability to work independently and make decisions without direct supervision
• Clear communication skills and a calm, professional demeanor
• Comfortable using hotel systems (PMS) and basic accounting processes
• Reliable and consistent with overnight scheduling
• Bilingual skills are a plus
