What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cook position at Ridgeline Management Company?
Ridgeline Management Company is dedicated to creating environments where moments of joy, independence, and wellness are the focus each and everyday for our residents and employees. The Cook prepares and serves meals for the dietary department in a safe and appetizing method in compliance with dietary standards, policy, and procedures.
1. Assists or prepares food items and serves food to residents within scheduled timeframe.
2. Cleans and maintains food service areas, including the kitchen and dining room.
3.Assists Dining Services Director in maintaining inventory control.
4. Reports any loss, breakage or waste of supplies and equipment, and communicates any problems or potential problems to the Culinary Director.
6. Displays mature behavior and attitude in speech and action; demonstrates consistently pleasant demeanor, tone of voice, supports the mission statement and approach to care used by the community.
7. Maintains an acceptable attendance record; notifies supervisor if late or unable to work in accordance with personnel polices; follows the assigned work schedule.
