Responsibilities
- Safely operate construction vehicles, including trucks and heavy equipment, to transport materials, tools, and personnel around the construction site.
- Assist with loading and unloading materials using hand tools, power tools, and appropriate safety procedures.
- Support the construction crew by performing tasks such as framing, drywall installation, roofing, concrete finishing, masonry, or other trades
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment by managing tools, equipment, and debris efficiently.
- Follow all safety protocols related to construction site operations and vehicle operation to prevent accidents or injuries.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of project milestones while adhering to quality standards.
Experience
- Prior experience working on construction sites is highly preferred; familiarity with various trades such as carpentry, roofing, masonry, or plumbing is a plus.
- Demonstrated ability to operate power tools, hand tools, and heavy equipment safely and effectively.
- Knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics, and construction management principles enhances your ability to support project needs.
- Experience in construction estimating or inspection can be advantageous but is not mandatory.
- Strong understanding of safety regulations related to construction site operations and vehicle handling.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record required; experience with commercial vehicle operation is beneficial.
