Floating Asst. Teacher (PS | LS)
Overview
Join our dynamic and inclusive team! In this role, you will serve as a floating assistant teacher, supporting preschool classrooms (2’s, 3’s, 4’s) and lower school classrooms (K–3) throughout the day. The ideal candidate is flexible, approachable, and brings a positive attitude to working with young students.
Responsibilities
- Support classrooms across Preschool and Lower School as scheduled
- Implement planned activities and assist with daily lessons
- Supervise free play, transitions, and aftercare as needed
- Create safe, joyful, and engaging learning environments
- Use positive language and encouragement to support growth
- Align work with the school’s mission and curriculum
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Professional experience working with young children
- Flexible, collaborative, and comfortable working across ages

Status: Academic year, part-time faculty (hourly)
Schedule & Pay: Monday–Friday, 11:00 AM–4:00 PM, $24/hour
