Delivery Driver – Job Description
We are looking for a dependable and enthusiastic Delivery Driver to become part of our team. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering goods safely and efficiently to designated locations while providing outstanding customer service. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage delivery schedules effectively to ensure on-time service.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate delivery vehicles safely, including box trucks and electric vehicles.
- Load, transport, and unload products securely to prevent damage during transit.
- Follow assigned delivery routes efficiently while complying with all traffic laws and safety standards.
- Deliver exceptional customer service by meeting established quality and service expectations.
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections and basic maintenance checks to ensure vehicles remain in safe operating condition.
Qualifications and Skills
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
- Previous experience in delivery driving, courier services, or a similar role is an advantage.
- Physical capability to lift and move heavy items using proper handling techniques.
- Strong navigation and route-planning skills across different delivery areas.
- Working knowledge of commercial driving regulations and safe driving practices.
