RN/LPN Unit Manager ($5000 Sign On Bonus)

Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate RN/LPN Unit Manager to join our team at Ridge Valley Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation. As a Unit Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of care to our residents, developing care plans, and administering nursing care. Responsibilities:
Participate in process improvement initiatives that improve the customer experience, enhance workflow, and/or improve the work environment
Collect information and assist with completing evaluations of residents at admission and discharge
Notify residents or legal representatives of pending discharge 24 hours in advance
On the date of discharge, chart a complete discharge summary, including discharge planning and referrals
Keep accurate and complete records of sign-in/out sheets for staffing hours
Work closely with the Director of Nursing in resolving grievances with nursing staff, family members, and residents
Respond to need for staffing shortages by arranging for replacement staff
Participate in programs related to infection control, exposure control, and resident care to provide proactive improvement
Requirements:
RN/LPN license
1-3 years of related experience, supervisory experience preferred
Current/active CPR certification
Excellent technical and documentation skills
Effective verbal and written English communication skills
Basic to intermediate skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook, Internet and Intranet navigation
Highest level of professionalism with the ability to maintain confidentiality
Approachable, flexible, and adaptable to change
Ability to function independently and work effectively with employees and vendors
