We are seeking a skilled and motivated Remodeling Crew Member to join our construction team. This role involves working on various residential remodeling projects, utilizing a wide range of construction skills and tools. The ideal candidate will have experience in multiple aspects of construction, including carpentry, drywall, tiling, flooring and finishing techniques. Duties
- Assist in demolition, framing, and structural modifications for remodeling projects
- Install and repair flooring, tile, cabinetry, doors, windows, and trim carpentry
- Perform drywall installation, plastering, stucco application, and painting preparation
- Operate power tools and hand tools safely and efficiently on various tasks
- Read blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to ensure accurate execution of work
- Conduct inspections to ensure quality standards are met throughout the project
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols at all times
Qualifications
- Proven experience in construction or remodeling projects with a strong understanding of construction management principles
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools
- Knowledge of various trades including carpentry (frame carpentry, trim carpentry), masonry, flooring installation, tile laying, cabinet installation, restoration work, is highly desirable
- Ability to perform demolition and structural modifications safely and effectively
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail in all aspects of remodeling work
- Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to follow detailed instructions accurately
- Relevant certifications or training in construction inspection or project management are a plus
