Job Summary:
Ridge IT Cyber is seeking a skilled Okta Engineer to design, implement, and maintain identity and access management (IAM) solutions. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Okta and a strong understanding of authentication, authorization, and security best practices. This role will play a critical part in securing enterprise systems and improving user access experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and manage Okta-based identity and access management solutions
- Configure and maintain Single Sign-On (SSO), Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), and lifecycle management
- Integrate applications with Okta using SAML, OAuth, and OpenID Connect
- Manage user provisioning/deprovisioning and directory integrations (e.g., Active Directory, LDAP)
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize configurations
- Collaborate with security, infrastructure, and application teams to enforce access policies
- Conduct regular audits and ensure compliance with security standards and best practices
- Support incident response related to identity and access issues
- Document configurations, processes, and procedures
Required Qualifications:
- 10 years of experience in Identity and Access Management (IAM)
- Hands-on experience with Okta administration and implementation
- Strong knowledge of SSO, MFA, SAML, OAuth, and OpenID Connect
- Experience integrating cloud and on-prem applications
- Familiarity with Active Directory, Azure AD, or LDAP
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
Preferred Qualifications:
- Okta Certified Professional or Administrator certification
- Experience with scripting (PowerShell, Python, or similar)
- Knowledge of security frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001, etc.)
- Experience in cybersecurity or consulting environments
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively.

- Must be a US Citizen by Birth
- Able to pass Top Secret Clearance Background Check.
