Assistant Director of Nursing
Ridge Haven Health and Rehabilitation Center is seeking a dynamic Assistant Director of Nursing to join our team in our Skilled Nursing Home.
New Port Richey, FL location.
The Assistant Director of Nursing will be responsible for Infection Control, Staff Development and assisting the Director of Nursing with overall management of the nursing Department. The ideal candidate will have a passion for quality and compassionate care, and will be willing to work flexible hours to ensure that all residents receive the best quality care. We are looking for a dynamic individual who can build relationships with residents and staff and help us provide a positive and welcoming environment.
Responsibilities
- Serve as Infection Preventionist.
- Provide inservice training
- Responsible for Orientation Program
- Asist Director of Nursing in Management and supervision of nursing department.
Required Experience and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in nursing; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Three to five years experience in health care administration; or experience as qualified registered nurse (RN) with two years supervisory experience.
- Demonstrated ability to organize, prioritize, plan and coordinate care.
