We are currently seeking an Industrial Maintenance Mechanic for 1st shift to join our team at our manufacturing facility located in North East, PA. Ridg-U-Rak is one of the largest pallet rack and storage rack manufacturers in North America.

Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, repair, and troubleshoot machinery and facilities.
- Performs preventative maintenance tasks, like Lubrication, Welding, Fabrication, Hydraulics, Pneumatics, Plumbing, Power Transmission and Gearing, Alignment and Vibration, Conveyors, Building Trades etc.
- Effectively trouble shoot all mechanical equipment, take corrective action, repair, replace, or rebuild, as necessary.
- Communicate and diagnose malfunctions with other maintenance employees and supervisors.
- Must be able to follow instructions, prioritize tasks, and work independently or as part of a team.
- Utilize maintenance software to complete assigned work orders.
- Maintain a safe and orderly work area.
- Required to use all personal protective equipment that is provided.
- Overtime may be required.
- Other duties as required
Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma or Equivalency
- Certification or technical degree preferred.
- 2 years Maintenance experience in manufacturing preferred
- Knowledge of hydraulics, gear boxes, transmissions, clutches and brakes, welding, lubrication systems and bearings, oven blowers and burners desired.
- Requires a well-rounded and experienced knowledge of the practices, tools, equipment and materials used in assigned skill trade area.

Pay: $22.00 - $27.00 per hour
