RideSource Inc is a Maine Based transportation company dedicated to providing safe, reliable transportation services across Maine.
We are seeking an Automotive Technician to assist, maintain, and repair our fleet of vehicles. This role will focus on diagnostics. preventative maintenance, safety inspections, and ensuring vehicles remain safe and reliable for daily use.
Key responsibilities include:
- Execute Preventative maintenance and thorough inspections on our fleet of vehicles;
- Intermediate diagnosis and repair of engines, electrical systems, braking systems, and drivetrain components;
- Troubleshoot and identify mechanical and electrical issues;
- Maintain accurate repair records and documentation;
- Record, log, and detail completed repairs;
- Assist management in maintaining fleet reliability and minimizing downtime;
- Maintain a clean, safe, and efficient work environment.
Requirements include:
- Experience with vehicle diagnosis and troubleshooting;
- Knowledge of inspection standards;
- Knowledge of quality control;
- Ability to work independently and maintain high quality work;
- Valid Driver's license and a clean driving record;
- Ability to stand, bend, and work in a shop environment;
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds;
- Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions;
- 3 to 5 years of experience preferred.
