Role Description
This is a paid internship role for a Training and Process Digitization Intern. The intern will assist in documenting and streamlining existing processes, creating and implementing training materials, and digitizing and organizing internal documents. The role will also involve collaborating with team members to identify efficiencies and refine operational workflows. This is an on-site role located in Ridgefield, CT, offering a meaningful opportunity to contribute to community impact while developing professional skills.
About the Role:
We’re looking for a motivated intern to help us modernize how we train and onboard our volunteer drivers and call center helpers. You’ll work hands-on to digitize existing processes, create engaging training videos, Develop simplified documentation that streamlines volunteer onboarding for greater efficiency and speed. (some onsite work required)
What You’ll Do:
• Create and produce workflow walkthrough videos for volunteer onboarding
• Develop clear, simplified process guides and visual aids
• Assist in building a structured digital training library
• Collaborate with staff to identify and document current workflows
• Suggest improvements to make training more efficient and accessible
Education:
• Looking for someone who is currently pursuing a degree in Communications, Instructional
Design, Education Technology, Marketing, or a related field
Experience & Skills:
• Video production and editing (DaVinci Resolve, Adobe Premiere, CapCut, or similar)
• Creating clear written content — job aids, SOPs, or how-to guides
• Familiarity with tools like Canva, Google Slides, or PowerPoint for visual content
• Basic project management and ability to work independently
• Strong communication and interviewing skills to capture subject matter expertise
(Bonus Points)
• Experience with LMS platforms (TalentLMS, Teachable, Google Classroom, AbsorbLMS, etc.)
• Volunteer or non-profit experience
• Screen recording tools like Loom or Camtasia
