Position Overview
The Department of Health Sciences & Nursing at Rider University seek an adjunct instructor to join the Graduate Nursing Adjunct Faculty for the Spring Semester, beginning January 26, 2026. The position is to teach APRN 5016 Primary Care of the Pediatric and Perinatal Patient.
Salary is $4,215.98 for a 3 credit course.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Experience
- MSN degree and a terminal, professional degree completed, or in progress.
- NP national certification in one of the following specialties - FNP or PNP
- Three (3) years of pediatric focused nurse practitioner experience
- One (1) year of demonstrated teaching experience.
- Unencumbered license, or eligible for licensure, as an RN and APN in New Jersey
- Prospective candidates must have demonstrated experience teaching a variety of student populations and demonstrated expertise in their field of study.
- Satisfactory background and/or DMV checks required.
Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Experience
- Demonstrated online teaching experience
- Graduate nursing teaching experience
