Position Overview
The Department of Performance Studies at Rider University seeks an adjunct instructor for VC 191 Movement for the Performer for the Spring 2026 semester.
Salary is $4,133.31 for a 3 credit course.Required Knowledge, Skills and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Acting, Directing, Vocal Performance, or related field.
- Experience in a variety of movement or somatic modalities (e.g., Alexander, Feldenkrais, Suzuki, Chekov, Lecoq, Laban, etc.).
- Satisfactory background and/or DMV checks required.
Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Experience
- Master's degree in a related field or equivalent professional experience.
- Experience teaching at the collegiate level.
- Experience working with classical singers.
