What are the responsibilities and job description for the Shipping & Receiving Associate - Central Texas Harley-Davidson position at RideNow Powersports?
Central Texas Harley-Davidson is looking for a Shipping & Receiving Associate to join our growing team.
What You'll Do:
Receive, unpack, verify, and accurately log incoming shipments of parts and accessories- Ensure products are correctly stocked in designated bins and storage areas
- Maintain and update the inventory system to reflect real-time data and accurate stock levels
- Coordinate outbound shipments following specific carrier instructions (UPS, FedEx, USPS, etc.)
- Participate in scheduled physical inventory counts and reconciliations
- Support parts counter and service team as needed
- Assist with administrative tasks and general parts department operations as assigned
What We're Looking For:
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs and work in physically active conditions (standing, crouching, kneeling)
- Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in data entry
- Excellent communication skills—both written and verbal
- Strong sense of urgency and the ability to multitask effectively
- Prior experience in shipping, logistics, or warehouse operations preferred
- Experience with inventory systems preferred
- Must be able to stand for extended periods of time
- Must be able to lift up to 50lbs
- Must be able to safely and efficiently move through the dealership premises—including indoor showrooms, vehicle lots, and service areas—while maintaining awareness of moving vehicles, customer foot traffic, and showroom displays.
- Must be able to frequently bend, kneel, crouch, and reach to perform job duties.
