Rideau Vineyard is a boutique, family owned winery in the heart of the Santa Ynez Valley. We're passionate about producing estate-grown wines and providing warm, memorable guest experiences in our tasting room. We're looking for a part-time Wine Tasting Room Sales Associate to join our team—someone who is enthusiastic about wine, hospitality, and sharing our story with every guest.
What You'll Do
- Welcome all guests with warmth and professionalism
- Guide guests through wine tastings and provide engaging education about our wines
- Drive wine sales, wine club sign-ups, and merchandise purchases
- Collaborate with team members to create a smooth and consistent guest experience
- Stay up-to-date on our wines, events, and promotions
What We're Looking For
- Previous wine tasting room or wine sales experience required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Positive personality and ability to work well with others
- Passion for wine and eagerness to learn
- Enthusiasm for helping with on-site events and other tasks as needed
- Must be 21 or older and able to lift up to 40 lbs
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time
- Basic computer/POS skills
- Must be available to work weekends
Pay & Perks
- Base pay: $17–$18/hr depending on experience
- With tips and commission: Most servers average total pay of $30–$45/hr

Schedule
Part-time: 8–16 hours per week
Primarily Saturday and/or Sunday shifts, with occasional weekday shifts based on need and availability
