Ride Zion Adventures is a premium, luxury private tour service operating in and around Zion National Park. We create unforgettable experiences for our guests, offering a range of activities, including hiking, e-biking, and driving tours. Our commitment to excellence and passion for the outdoors make us the preferred choice for discerning guests who are seeking a unique and personalized adventure here in Zion.
Our tours are always private and are generally small groups of 2-4 people. At times, we accommodate groups of 6-8. We always maintain a guide-to-guest ratio of 1 to 6 for larger groups.
Ride Zion is owned and operated by Zion locals, Kurt and Sarah Wilson.
Overview:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Adventure Guide to join our team and lead tours in Zion National Park. As an Adventure Guide with Ride Zion Adventures, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety, enjoyment, and engagement of our guests as you guide them through the park’s stunning terrain and share insights about its natural and cultural history.
If you have a passion for customer service, explaining the geology behind the natural wonders of Southern Utah, have excellent communication skills, and enjoy outdoor activities such as hiking and biking, we encourage you to apply.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct guided tours in and around Zion National Park, including activities such as hiking, ebiking and driving.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all guests throughout the tour.
- Provide informative and engaging commentary about the park’s geography, ecology, and history.
- Assist in planning and customizing tours to meet the specific interests and abilities of guests.
- Maintain equipment and gear used for tours, ensuring all items are in safe working condition.
- Represent Ride Zion Adventures with professionalism and a commitment to exceptional guest service.
Experience:
- Proven experience in guiding tours, outdoor recreation, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of Zion National Park’s trails, geography, and history.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A passion for the outdoors and a commitment to conservation and sustainable tourism practices.
- Active First Aid and CPR certification; additional Wilderness First Responder (WFR) certification is a plus.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends and holidays.
- Strong time management skills to ensure timely tours and adherence to schedules
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Leadership skills to guide and inspire visitors during tours
Job Types: Part-time, Seasonal
Pay: $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 8 – 40 per week
