We are looking for a skilled Maintenance Person to join our maintenance team. The ideal candidate will have experience with a variety of building maintenance duties such as landscaping, HVAC, electrical and plumbing. The Maintenance Person should be passionate about their work, detail oriented, and good with their hands.
Responsibilities:
- Be able to read blueprints, technical drawings, and manuals and understand the concepts described therein.
- Be able to use a variety of measuring devices to take accurate measurements and record these measurements correctly, correctly interpreting these measurements.
- Be able to complete some repairs in-house, such as changing a tire or changing a furnace filter, as well as have some knowledge of common issues.
- Have some knowledge of power tools such as a drill press, circular saw, table saw and use them safely.
- Read electrical meters and analyze meter readings.
- Be familiar with various hand tools such as wrenches, pliers and screwdrivers.
- Be able to read schematics and troubleshoot mechanical problems.
- Know how to set up and operate a variety of tools like a grinder or air compressor.
- Have the ability to read weather reports and understand the implications for optimal safety conditions for when working outside.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $14.00 - $18.00 per hour
