Direct Support Professional (DSP)

RIDE LLC. is currently seeking applicants for Direct Support Professional (DSP) positions, who have friendly personalities and the patience needed to accommodate developmentally disabled individuals. RIDE LLC. provides licensed homemaker/personal care services across Delaware, Franklin, Union, Hamilton, and Knox County, Ohio. Our strategy as an agency sets us apart as we strive to provide exceptional care and to make a positive impact on the lives of our clientele.

Current shifts available:

• A) Location: Delaware, OH. Shift: Friday 3 PM - Monday 10 AM. (live-in shift) (this shift includes separate pay rates for overnight and awake hours) (client strongly prefers female staff). This shift can be broken down if needed.
• B) Location: Sunbury, OH. Shift: Thursday 9 AM - Sunday 5 PM. (live-in shift) (this shift includes separate pay rates for overnight and awake hours) (client strongly prefers female staff). Behavioral care experience is preferred.
• C) Location: Cincinnati, OH. Shift: Saturday 12 PM - Monday 1 PM. (live-in shift). (this shift includes separate pay rates for overnight and awake hours). Must be able to do light lifting.

Please note that there are separate pay rates for overnight and awake hours. Overnight Pay Rates start at $13-$14/hour. Awake Pay Rates can range from $22/hour - $25/hour.

Requirements:

• First aid and CPR certified applicants are preferred.
• Medication administration certified applicants are preferred.
• RELIABLE TRANSPORTATION IS REQUIRED FOR ALL APPLICANTS.
• Must possess the ability to deal tactfully with co-workers, clients, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel, and the general public.
• A great outlook and cheerful disposition are a must as well.
• Must have a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Must be able to enroll in Ohio attorney general’s retained applicant fingerprint database after the hiring process is complete (“RapBack”).
• Must at least hold a high school diploma or GED certificate.
• Be able to read, write, and understand English fluently.
