Overview:

Ride Krew is seeking a dedicated Development and Fundraising Manager with a passion for mountain biking and youth engagement. This full-time role, based in San Diego County with remote flexibility, requires occasional weekends and regional travel. The Fundraising Manager will report to the Managing Director with oversight from the Board of Directors and be responsible for creating and implementing fundraising strategies to achieve the non-profits objectives.

Responsibilities:

●       Develop and execute strategies to increase Ride Krew’s fundraising efforts. To include procuring grants, corporate partnerships, private donors and leading fundraising events. Establish and nurture community partners, grant and donor relationships to increase Ride Krew’s presence and fulfill funding needs.

●       Research individuals, corporations, and foundations that are interested in gift giving. Effectively convey the organization's mission, vision, and programs to potential donors.

●       Oversee and implement grants from research and sourcing through to execution and reporting. Includes documenting grant requirements, reporting to Board of Directors and grant administrators, financial management and tracking.

●       Create and implement fundraising initiatives. Monetize existing events, create social media campaigns (I.E. Giving Tuesday), donor engagement and donor specific events.

●       Analyze Ride Krew’s network to include past participants, parents and donors to create donation strategies that would result in increased funding opportunities. Directly execute strategy through email, phone calls and campaigns.

●       Communicate with the Board of Directors, community partners, elected officials, sponsors, and grant administrators.

●       Coordinate with the Board Treasurer, Bookkeeper, and CPA for tax filings and financial reporting. 

●       Assist in executing Ride Krew’s strategic plan, focusing on entering new markets via hiring, fundraising, marketing, and communications.

●       Engage with organizational software: Grantable, Monday, Adobe, Google Drive, ACT!, MS Suite, Give Smart and Canva.

●       Work with the team to develop and execute Ride Krew’s strategic plan, focusing on entering new markets via overall efforts in hiring, fundraising, marketing, and communications.

●       Travel and Flexibility: Some travel throughout Southern California, including evenings and weekends.

●       Other Duties: As assigned.

Qualifications:

●       Experience in the creation and implementation of fundraising strategies. Background in grant writing and management.

●       Can lead small teams and be effective in creating and implementing quarterly fundraising plans to achieve organizations objectives.

●       Proficiency with fundraising software, Canva, MS Suite.

●       Excellent communication, organizational, and sales skills.

●       Ability to work independently and adapt to a flexible schedule.

●       Valid driver’s license.

Compensation:

This is a full-time, exempt position. Compensation will be in line with experience in a range of $70,000 - $90,000, plus a $5,000 healthcare stipend and end-of-year incentive pay.
