What You’ll Do
- Lead the launch and ongoing operations of Evergreen Ambulance Service.
- Design and implement strategies for growth, quality, and financial sustainability.
- Partner with Ride Connection leadership and the Medical Director to ensure clinical excellence and regulatory compliance.
- Oversee budgets, contracts, and performance targets while identifying opportunities for innovation and expansion.
- Recruit, mentor, and support staff through training, coaching, and workforce development.
- Build strong relationships with community partners and stakeholders to expand impact and establish Evergreen as a trusted service provider.
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Paramedicine, Business/Healthcare Administration, Emergency Preparedness, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of healthcare or ambulance operations experience, with at least 3 years in leadership.
- Current NREMT certification and Oregon EMT license (required).
- Demonstrated ability to launch or scale programs, manage complex operations, and deliver measurable results.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
- Valid Oregon Driver’s License and BLS certification (American Heart Association or Red Cross).
Preferred qualifications include:
- Master’s degree or advanced certifications (CAM, CEM, etc.).
- Experience in start-up or program development environments.
- Strong background in budget management, contracts, and revenue-generating strategies.
- Familiarity with state and federal ambulance regulations and healthcare operations.
Physical Requirements
This role includes operational oversight and, at times, hands-on field involvement, which may involve:
- Lifting and carrying equipment and assisting with patient transport.
- Driving an ambulance safely in varied conditions.
- Performing fine motor skills and clinical tasks in fast-moving, high-pressure environments.
