RIDE is a fun, fast-growing equestrian lifestyle boutique based in Bedford, NY. We're seeking a driven, entrepreneurial Sales Specialist to play a key role on our sales floor, connecting customers with our exceptional product selection while delivering an outstanding shopping experience.
We are hiring for both part-time and full-time positions.
The ideal candidate is a self-starter with a strong work ethic, professionalism, attention to detail, and a passion for providing exceptional customer service.
Core Responsibilities
· Own end-to-end retail operations
· Manage opening and closing procedures
· Answering store phones and respond to all client communications
· Utilize the Point-of-Sale system to accurately process client transactions and communications
· Adapt to daily in-store needs
· Merchandising & window displays
Qualifications
· Ability to commute to Bedford, NY
· Prior retail sales or business experience necessary, ideally in sporting goods, apparel, or a related industry. Equestrian knowledge a plus.
· Passion for delivering exceptional customer service by building relationships, identifying customer needs, providing personalized recommendations, and creating a positive RIDE brand experience.
· Familiarity with retail operations, including POS systems and sales support functions.
· Proficient with Mac and Windows operating systems, Microsoft Word and Excel, and comfortable learning new technology.
· Strong multitasking, communication, and organizational skills with the ability to adapt in a fast-paced retail environment.
· Ability to move, stand, reach, and handle merchandise throughout the store and stockroom.
Compensation & Benefits
· Starting pay ranges from $20-$35/hour depending on experience and level of responsibility, with added commission and bonus opportunities.
