Job Description:
We are seeking motivated and detail-oriented individuals for Glazier positions. We have opportunities for both apprentices and experienced glaziers. As a Glazier, you will work with a team to install, repair, and replace glass in windows, doors, and other structures. You will have the chance to develop your skills and advance your career in a supportive and dynamic environment.
Responsibilities:
- Measure, cut, fit, and install glass for various applications, including windows, doors, and custom projects
- Work with a variety of materials, including glass, mirrors, and aluminum
- Safely handle and transport glass and equipment
- Support the team in following specifications, and safety protocols
- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with clients
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition
Qualifications:
- Apprentice: No prior experience is required; a strong desire to learn and a commitment to the trade are essential. Carpentry skills is beneficial. On-the-job training will be provided.
- Experienced Glaziers: Previous experience in glazing or a related field is preferred. A proven track record of quality workmanship and safety is required.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications
- Strong Carpentry skills
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Physical ability to lift and carry heavy materials and work at heights
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
