Entry-Level Carpenter/Cabinet Maker
Ruby Construction – Rapid City, SD
Ruby Construction is seeking motivated and detail-oriented Entry-Level Carpenters/Cabinet Makers to join our growing team. We design and build high-quality, custom wood products that support a variety of commercial environments, creating durable and visually appealing finished pieces.
What You’ll Do:
- Assist in the construction and assembly of custom woodwork, cabinetry, fixtures, and display elements.
- Use hand and power tools to cut, shape, assemble, and install materials.
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and measurements to ensure accuracy.
- Sand, finish, and prepare wood surfaces for final use.
- Work alongside skilled craftsmen to develop and refine your carpentry skills.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
What We’re Looking For:
- A strong work ethic and eagerness to learn the trade.
- Basic experience with woodworking tools (saws, drills, sanders, etc.) is a plus, but we are willing to train the right candidate.
- Ability to read a tape measure and work with precision.
- Strong attention to detail and pride in craftsmanship.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- A dependable team player with solid communication skills.
