Senior On-Site Service Specialist
POSITION PROFILE
Provides primary operational support with a strong focus on shipping, receiving, and logistics within a high‑volume printing and production environment. Key responsibilities include preparing, packing, labeling, shipping, and receiving printed materials, finished products, and supplies while ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with shipping requirements.
Supports print and production operations by operating high‑volume duplicating and production equipment as needed, assisting with sorting, finishing, bindery support, quality control (QC), and final product checks prior to shipment. Coordinates outgoing shipments, tracks deliveries, manages courier and freight interactions, applies appropriate postage, and handles incoming and outgoing mail, packages, and faxes.
Responsible for organizing, staging, and distributing materials throughout the site, maintaining shipping documentation, inventory accuracy, and a clean, safe work environment. May perform routine equipment maintenance or basic troubleshooting on production and finishing equipment.
Additional duties include bindery support, QC and final inspections, file and document services, customer service functions, and reception coverage as needed.
Due to the higher level of professionalism, communication, and customer interaction required—including occasional front‑desk or telephone coverage—employees performing this role are classified as Senior On‑Site Services Specialists .
This position reports directly to the Site Manager.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide primary operational support for shipping, receiving, and logistics in a high‑volume printing and production environment
- Prepare, pack, label, ship, and receive printed materials, finished products, and supplies with a high level of accuracy and timeliness
- Ensure compliance with shipping requirements, postage standards, and carrier guidelines
- Operate high‑volume duplicating and production equipment as needed to support print operations
- Assist with sorting, finishing, bindery support, quality control (QC), and final product inspections prior to shipment
- Coordinate outgoing shipments, track deliveries, and manage interactions with couriers and freight carriers
- Apply appropriate postage and handle incoming and outgoing mail, packages, and fax transmissions
- Organize, stage, and distribute materials throughout the site to support production workflow
- Maintain accurate shipping documentation, inventory records, and logs
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in accordance with workplace safety standards
- Provide bindery support, QC checks, file and document services as required
- Deliver customer service support, including occasional front‑desk and telephone coverage
- Communicate professionally with internal teams, customers, and vendors
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support overall site operations
- Report directly to the Site Manager
