Hardware Associate Engineer

Position SummaryWe are seeking an entry-level Electromechanical Field Support Engineer to join our High-Performance Digital Systems (HPDS) team. This role focuses on field engineering, customer support, and product troubleshooting for advanced high-speed printing and imaging systems. The ideal candidate enjoys solving complex technical issues in a collaborative environment and is open to travel (25% domestic and international).

You will participate in the design, analysis, documentation, and support of engineering solutions under the guidance of senior professionals. This role contributes to projects that impact customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.

• Key ResponsibilitiesPerform engineering design, process analysis, experimentation, and technical documentation.
• Evaluate alternatives to existing engineering procedures to resolve specific problems.
• Support larger project initiatives with technical input and problem-solving.
• Provide field support for installations, upgrades, and troubleshooting of electromechanical systems.
• Assist with project planning and communicate technical issues and results.
• Ensure timely completion of assigned technical objectives within quality and cost parameters.
• Maintain clear records of design work, test results, and service documentation.
• May help coordinate activities of less experienced technical staff.
• Take on additional responsibilities as required.
• QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or related field).
• Entry-level experience; recent graduates welcome.
• Foundational knowledge of engineering concepts, tools, and processes.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to travel (25% or more), both within the U.S. and internationally.
• Preferred Skills & AttributesBasic understanding of electromechanical systems.
• Familiarity with high-speed printing/imaging technology is a plus.
