We are seeking an experienced Machine Operator to join our team. In this role, you will set up, maintain, and operate industrial machines. Responsibilities
- Perform routine safety and maintenance checks prior to each production cycle.
- Calibrate, adjust settings, and clean machines to ensure good operating conditions
- Use precision tools to inspect parts
- Troubleshoot any issues that may arise during production
- Feed raw materials through machines
- Monitor output to ensure it meets quality control standards
- Maintain detailed records of activity logs, defective units, and final products
Qualifications
- High school diploma/GED
- Technical certification or degree is preferred but not required
- Previous experience as a machine operator is preferred
- Familiarity with industrial machinery and production procedures is preferred
- Experience with seam sealing machines is preferred but not required
- Understanding of industrial sewing and garment construction is preferred but not required
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and manuals
- Attention to detail and excellent hand-eye coordination
- Ability to adhere to all safety rules and regulations
- Ability to meet the physical demands of the job, including sitting for long periods and working around high temperatures.
