RV Service Advisor

Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused RV Service Advisor to join our local operation. In this vital role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for customers seeking mobile maintenance, repairs, and service for their recreational vehicles (RVs). Your enthusiasm, mechanical knowledge, and exceptional communication skills will ensure a seamless experience from initial inquiry to job completion. You will schedule service appointments and coordinate with technicians to ensure an efficient and seamless transaction, provide accurate estimates, and upsell additional services to maximize customer satisfaction. This role offers an exciting opportunity to combine RV expertise with outstanding client service in a vibrant environment dedicated to adventure and mobility.

Duties

• Greet customers warmly and listen attentively to understand their RV service needs and concerns. Have professional communication ability with phone, text, and email
• Explain repair procedures, estimate costs using estimating software, and recommend additional services through effective upselling techniques
• Coordinate with mobile technicians to schedule repairs and ensure timely completion of services
• Write detailed service orders and maintain accurate documentation of vehicle repairs, diagnostics, and customer interactions
• Communicate clearly with clients about vehicle status, repair progress, and completion times
• Utilize mechanical knowledge to assist in explaining repair issues when needed
• Manage cash handling, invoicing, and payment processing efficiently.
• Be able to effectively communicate with extended service providers and claims adjusters to gain approvals quickly and keep the repair process on track
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of RV repair procedures including appliances, water, and electrical systems.
• Promote available services by identifying opportunities for additional sales and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the service process.
• Qualifications
• Proven experience as a Service Advisor or similar role within a repair shop
• Strong mechanical knowledge with familiarity in RV diagnostics, vehicle maintenance, and repair procedures
• Knowledge of the surrounding area and location of RV parks/campgrounds
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly and professionally
• Ability to efficiently use Google calendar and related programs are impportant
• Ability to handle cash transactions accurately while maintaining professionalism under pressure
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record;
