Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Maintenance Worker to join our team in Pontiac, IL. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing janitorial duties, light handyman tasks, cleaning, power washing, stocking supplies, and occasional lifting of up to 50 lbs. This role requires attention to detail, physical stamina, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine janitorial duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and trash removal.
• Carry out light handyman work such as minor repairs, painting, and basic maintenance tasks.
• Clean and power wash building exteriors, walkways, and other surfaces as needed.
• Stock and organize maintenance supplies and equipment.
• Lift and move items weighing up to 50 lbs on occasion.
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly work environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in janitorial or maintenance work preferred.
• Basic handyman skills and ability to perform minor repairs.
• Ability to operate power washing equipment safely.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally.
• Strong attention to detail and good organizational skills.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
