Candidate shall have a BSCE degree, California Registration as a Professional Civil Engineer, plus a minimum of ten years’ experience in public works design with an emphasis in transportation engineering; or the equivalent work experience of 14 years.

Qualifications
Candidate shall have a BSCE degree, California Registration as a Professional Civil Engineer, plus a minimum of ten years’ experience in public works design with an emphasis in transportation engineering; or the equivalent work experience of 14 years.
Position Requires
- Extensive experience and demonstrated engineering abilities in all aspects of roadway engineering projects. Experience in roundabout design, interchange design and/or active transportation a plus.
- Interacting comfortably and productively with clients and public agencies.
- Experience with Caltrans District 5 and knowledge of Caltrans processes is a plus.
- Candidate must have a minimum five years’ project management experience.
- Supervision of engineering design teams.
- Management of project schedules and budgets.
- Preparation of contracts, fee proposals, and scopes of work.
- Experience in client and public-agency interactions.

Salary : $120,000 - $150,000
